Dear friends and family of Pine Moon Fine Art,
September is a wonderful month to enjoy all the fall hiking that Steamboat and Routt County have to offer. It is also a time when flocks of majestic birds pass through on their way to warmer climates. At the gallery, we are celebrating printmaker and poet, Jill Bergman. In Poems for the Wayward World, Jill has put together a heartfelt and gorgeous collection of linocut prints and accompanying poems. We invite you to immerse yourself in the intricate storytelling this exhibition has to offer. September is Jill Bergman’s last month with us at Pine Moon Fine Art. Although we understand that just as birds follow their ancient pathways to new places, artists too must honor their ever-changing creative journey. Jill’s voice as an advocate for the planet, steward of its creatures, patient teacher, friend and leader, not to mention incredible artist, will be sorely missed at the gallery. Join us for the opening of the exhibition this Friday, September 6th, 5–8pm.
Mark your calendars: Thursday, September 12th, at 5pm, Jill is having a poetry reading and will be available to sign books at Pine Moon. She has also invited a handful of local authors to read one of their own poems inspired by nature. Come for a lovely evening!
