October Newsletter

Dear friends and family of Pine Moon Fine Art,

We hope you are all enjoying the beautiful weather this autumn is bringing to Routt County. The vivid yellows, oranges and reds within our expansive forests and rugged mountain ranges have been awe-inspiring this year. While our wilderness areas are an ideal backdrop for outdoor activities, they are also home to abundant wildlife including countless bird species, elk, deer, moose and bears (some which roam in our backyards!) As an artist, it’s almost impossible to not find endless inspiration here. During the month of October we invite you to enjoy Wilderness, an All-Artist Exhibition by all Pine Moon Fine Art artists. Come enjoy this beautiful exhibition and see what inspires your favorite local Steamboat artist.

Also, this Friday, October 4th, Friends of Wilderness (FOW) is coming in during First Friday Artwalk to talk about the 60th anniversary of the Wilderness Act and provide information about their organization. Presentation will begin at 5pm. We are open 11am-6pm. See you then!

GOOD NEWS!

This summer, our own Susan Gill Jackson participated in a few exciting plein air events including Strings’ Kitchen and Garden Tour and Steamboat Art Museum’s Plein Air week. The painting for Strings was auctioned during their annual fundraiser.
